Detail: Ross needed an effective tool to promote his sand sculpting and other art work.
A detailed, flat-rate quote was prepared, presenting Ross with recommendations re domain registration, hosting and cross-promotional opportunities. Ross was presented with one price for an original design and another for a Wordpress implementation, and CMS options for both.
The budget for the project was tight, so we chose to purchase a high quality Wordpress theme, thus leaving us more time to concentrate on site customisations, adding content and client training on how to update content using Wordpress as a CMS. A site architecture was established based on site aims and and key content areas. Text and galleries were added.

Detail: Client coaching included advice on cross-promotional opportunities. Ross was advised to use Red Bubble to increase traffic to his site and as an effective forum to sell prints of his illustrations.
Ross has a video based on his illustrations available for purchase. I edited the video to create a promotional preview that was suitable for upload to YouTube. This was then linked to from Ross's site, again creating cross-promotional opportunities.

Detail: Site customisations included edits to style sheets re layout of elements, fonts, backgrounds, et cetera; the addition of a contact form plugin; and adding PHP code to generate metadata description from tagline.
Also included was submission of site and site map to Google and Bing for site verification.
